We present our new PLU App for smartphones. This application allows employees to learn the PLU numbers of non-scannable items anywhere and at any time. This application has been developed specifically for Lidl employees, so they can learn PLU numbers quickly and effectively. When working on the checkout, it is very important to know the items and the corresponding PLU numbers.
Methods: In the "Learning" method the item names and the PLU numbers are practiced. The "Training" method helps you better memorise the products and their associated PLU numbers.
